Thinking doesn't make it so

I really want to ...

I'm thinking about doing ...

What I'd love to do is ...

I'm dreaming about a life where I ...

If I had a nickel for every time I heard a phrase like those (and others) from someone that wasn't followed up by an action, I would have more money than Elon Musk.

DO something

Thinking, wanting, dreaming doesn't make it so.

ACTION is the only thing that has a chance of bringing our dreams to life.

Daydreams are nice. They feel good. They enhance the truth about possibility, which is essentially limitless in terms of our human potential.

Daydreams don't actually create anything, though.

Sometimes daydreaming FEELS like we're taking an action. It's a weird thing, isn't it? We spend all day planning and dreaming and wishing, so it seems like we've done something.

But unless we follow through with a real ACTION, it's ... well, it's pointless.

I'm being blunt because I want you to get into action.

Experience the power of your dreams and desires, and then harness that power and put it into action.

Small action. Big action. Doesn't matter, because those things can't be measured, anyway. We never know which action will take us where, so for me, it's simpler to just ACT and not worry about the potential outcome.

Of course we can get into all the "what if ..." scenarios, too. We can conjure up an imagined future filled with doom, gloom and disaster.

And we stay in a state of inaction.

We also have the option NOT to stay in a state of inaction. We can enjoy the dreaming and accept the "what if's" and just move, move, move, go, go,, go.

As my mother used to say, "What are you waiting for? An invitation?"

If so, here's your invitation and your permission slip to TAKE ACTION today.

What will you do? And don't say, "I don't know" -- because you DO know. Anyone who has ever worked with me knows that I do not tolerate the "I don't know" response.

Go do something on behalf of your dreams and desires today. TODAY.
